We are now one of the firsts nations so we need the game in French. by Lau
They didn't translated the game in spanish because Spain was the biggest country,why not in Hungarian which is as big as you guys. You can't translate the game just because a nation is the biggest. They didn't translated in Swedish when Sweden was the biggest country. They didn't translated in Romanian when Romania was the biggest country and so on. You are big now,but in a few months you will be average again leaving room for other countries. That's how eRepublik works! Still, they could introduce Northern Africa at the same time which are French-speaking areas. Voted. by Prodige

Maybe chinese or hindi? They are quite popular in RL too. Nearly half of population use them. But a little more seriously. Wouldn't be good idea to give an access to *some* ecitizens (I suppose that egovernments should be helpfull) and allow them to translate game into any language they wish? It works for Linux (for example debian :)) so why it shouldn't work for erepublik? And I'm not talking about giving an access to servers - just send them (for example) xls file - "on column A you have english string, please write localized version on column B". It usually takes time, but works. by Narodle

The game was translated to spanish,because many countries speak spanish,including a part of USA and many South American countries that are in erepublik! French, as english or spanish, is one of the most spreaded language all around the world. It's a beautiful language which can attract a lot of new players that are not very confident with english. So I think that the game should be translate in french and spanish at least as quickly as possible. by neohel

The " We are the biggest country " is kind of a wavering argument , because maybe next month the USA will hold this position ... But i think that a lot of eFrench that are both english and french-speaking would like to help the developers or whoever to translate the game ... making it a lot easier on them ... There are alot of languages for it to be translated to. Nonetheless, acquiring staff for this, and paying them, is a large task (I make it sound like the admins actually get things done).
